Best known as the distinctive flavor in Earl Grey Tea, this oil is cold-pressed from the fruit rind of the bergamot orange tree, and has a soothing, uplifting aroma. It is well known for its ability to calm and balance the emotions, but can also be used in cosmetic preparations and cleaning solutions.
This variety has had its bergapten content removed, making it safe for topical use without increased skin sensitivity to the sun.
